TOUCHDOWN PLUS TERMS & CONDITIONS

1)	All members must be bonafide travel industry employees or retired travel industry employees. Please refer to the eligibility list on the home page for further clarification.
2)	New members will be expected to provide proof of travel industry entitlement when they wish to purchase flights from Touchdown which will be held on file by Touchdown Plus for the period of membership. Where applicable this letter will be used as proof of holiday entitlement by Touchdown in respect of holidays taken. This letter of employment will also be required to allow redemption of prize/s won, where applicable.
3)	Members will be entered in all monthly prize draws in order to stand a chance of winning holidays, vouchers, discount opportunities and other products listed on the monthly Prize Draw web page. These prizes may be used only by the registered staff member. Prizes are not transferable to other persons or other bookings (unless otherwise stated). There are no cash alternatives to prizes won. The draw date is always clearly stated at the top of the Prize Draw page and it will be drawn at 10:00am on the day stated each month.
4)	Winners of these draws will be notified on a monthly basis. Information regarding draws and the winners may also be found on our website. Except where prohibited, by participating in prize draws and if successful, accepting prizes, the winners agree to the use of their names, company names and images and likenesses for advertising the event itself and the Touchdown Plus club for future promotions. Prize draws when applicable may be made by a third party on their premises to ensure that no impropriety takes place. All paid up members names will be entered into the draws providing they have supplied us with their employer details which is compulsory. Prize winners should notify Touchdown Plus of their chosen dates within 2 months of winning the prize, otherwise the prizes will be resubmitted for future draws.
5)	For the purposes of maintaining customer service, calls may be recorded.
6)	Members will be automatically subscribed to the Touchdown e-newsletter,which offers holiday discounts, to the travel trade, if they are not subscribed already.
7)	The subscription fee is valid for one calendar year from the date of payment, with the exception of introductory 15 months for £15 offer which automatically provided membership for period 01 Jan '09 - 31 Mar '10, this offer expired 31Dec 2008. Renewal reminders will be sent out one month before renewal date unless authorisation has been given to take payments by electronic means, credit card, debit card or direct debit.
8)	If members subsequently leave the travel industry, or if the member is unable to avail of offers on Touchdown main website (for whatever reason), note that refunds of Touchdown Plus membership will not be made under any circumstances.
9)	With reference to 'guaranteed' room upgrades, naturally these are subject to availability at the time of booking. The initial room category you book before the upgrade is applied must be sufficient to accommodate all people travelling. Eg. If there are 3 people travelling and the standard category only accommodates 2 people, your booking request would need to be to the next available category to accommodate all 3 people. The room upgrade would then be to the next category up.
10)	Note for prizewinners: It is your responsibility to obtain and have correct travel and health documentation based on the travel to be taken. For some destinations a tourist visa is mandatory to enter a country. It is important to ensure that your passport is valid and has the appropriate visa within, otherwise boarding ex UK may be denied or you may be refused entry upon arrival at your destination. Some countries will issue a tourist visa upon arrival, others require issuing in the country of origin at the appropriate embassy. It is recommended that your passport has at least six months validity after your planned return date within it, as many countries impose this entry requirement. Please check our travel information section at www.touchdown.co.uk for latest info on visa and health requirements. Touchdown Plus will not accept any responsibility for any inaccuracies or damages resulting from information contained within the Touchdown or Touchdown Plus websites which are subject to change at any time. Please consult the appropriate consulate/embassy or health centre for clarification.
11)	The member/user agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Touchdown Plus, its affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, licensors, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of the use of information from the Touchdown Plus club,website and related company websites, or on breach of the terms of use.
12)	Touchdown employees and Touchdown associate companies employees, and their families are not eligible to participate in prize draws open to Touchdown Plus members.
13)	Prizewinners should notify Touchdown Plus of dates required within 2 months of the draw, otherwise the prizes may be resubmitted for future draws. Winners will be notified by email, however it is also recommended to check the list on the website for prizewinners on a monthly basis.
